Job Location: Geneva - Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland

Job Description:

Workplace is in Covalence office in Geneva (Switzerland), work minimum half time (20h / week) with flexible working hours. Please note that it is an unpaid position. Unfortunately, we cannot help to pay for travel and accommodation.

The job consists of :


• Collect information surfing the Internet using various sources among multinational companies, non governmental organizations, universities, trade unions, medias.


• Select relevant information through a quick reading and analysis process : information related to multinational companies’ economic, social and environmental impact on developing countries


• Enter information into Covalence database, coding it according to 45 criteria, positive or negative orientation, countries, sources


• Contribute to production and methodological improvement processes by formulating comments and suggestions and participating in testing programs


• Participate in international conferences held by UN agencies and NGOs on global social and economic issues


• Make a 15 minutes presentation followed by discussion on one theme encountered during internship (picture) ; write a 2 pages paper which we have decided to publish on Covalence website and want to see published in a large newspaper

Job Requirements:

Covalence offers information analyst internships position to students and young graduates with economic or social sciences backgrounds.
