Job Description:

The Intern will be responsible for the hands-on delivery of high quality programs and recreation experiences. While fulfilling this responsibility, the Sports and Recreation Intern is expected to model, practice, and carry out the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility in all aspects of the position.


Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in marketing, staffing, planning and implementing of the community youth soccer program, special seasonal events and themed weekends. In addition, intern will assist with daily guest program services at Trout Lodge as time permits.


12-16 week internships are available at any time during the year to coincide with your school's academic schedule. While we do not offer an intern stipend, we provide meals and housing to our interns.

Job Requirements:

Position requires creativity, problem solving skills, excellent customer service and good judgment. Previous coaching and athletic team experience is a plus. Candidates must be able to work with people from various backgrounds and cultures. Junior or senior college level status is preferred.
