STEM Camp Counselor

Job Description:

As a Camp Counselor, you are assigned to a specific group of up-to 12 campers between the ages 4-14, boys or girls for a week at a time. You guide them throughout the day with a focus on a specific topic (i.e. Programming, Engineering, Game Design, Robotics, Aerospace, etc.)

Each week is designed to be a fun week in exploring STEM topics, projects and content. Counselors learn content and then deliver fun and exciting STEM based lessons with the best technology.

Even more importantly, you become an integral part of your camper’s experience at in STEM and could be the motivating factor to help kids learn to love Math and Science.

Each counselor is responsible each child’s social, emotional and physical well-being and safety.

Job Requirements:

- Must have some experience working with or volunteering with Elementary and/or Middle School kids.
- Must have some basic knowledge in Engineering and/or Computer Science concepts.
- Must have the ability to pass all required safety, training and background checks as required by the State of CO.
- Must be committed to the development of education programs, lessons and delivering a great Summer Camp for Kids.
- Must be personable, able to deal with organized chaos and good at offering the best in Customer Service to Parents and kids who attend Camp.
- Must have excellent communication, presentation and/or social skills.
