We are looking to expand our field organizing team in Baltimore, MD. We are hiring community organizers to educate the public and build strength in numbers so we can ensure our water is safe and healthy to drink, our communities are toxin free, and our systems of government protect the health of all citizens equally.
The duties of the Community Organizer will be to educate the public on critical consumer and environmental issues and to help build strength in numbers to effect policy changes. We offer leadership training and advancement opportunities for qualified individuals and ensure that all staff develop valuable political advocacy skills.
Compensation and Benefits
$425-650 per week; contingent on performance and leadership responsibilities.
$85-130 per day for part time schedules.
Excellent benefits package including 100% employer paid medical, dental, and vision insurance available after three months of employment.
Advancement and career opportunities are available.
2-10pm Monday through Friday
Part time schedules are available for the same hours 3-4 days per week.
Both internships and permanent positions are available.
